Q: How do I order and receive my purchase?
A: Click the coresponding price button next to the expansion or bundle you wish to purchase. Please use an active/permanent email address during your purchase. This email address acts as your registration. Following payment, click the "return to merchant" button to continue to your download. If you are not forwarded correctly by PayPal to your download page, simply contact the programmer of your expansion, from the expansion page, to confirm payment and have your file(s) sent via email. Upon purchasing our products, please remember you agree to our no-share policy and End User License Agreement. Our products are considered software, and as such, we do not offer refunds.
Q: Will expansions sound the same on my module?
A: Our website samples are recorded directly from the module's outputs. The expansions will sound exactly the same on your module as when they came out of ours. However, take into consideration how you are monitoring the samples at the computer, and at your module. If you listen to our website samples at the computer through computer speakers, but then listen at the module through headphones or another monitoring setup (speakers, effects, etc.), the two will result in differences. It is recommended you listen to the site samples through the same monitoring/headphones you will use with your kit. A quality sound card in your computer is also recommended. If in doubt, save our mp3s to listen somewhere you trust. (ie: any PA system you might use) Regardless, the expansions will still work perfectly. You may just need some personal tweaking for your personal setup. This is all very common, as we all use different ways of monitoring our playing.
Q: What are the TD-50 installation requirements?
A: Installation requires an SD Card, and a computer with an SD Reader, internet access, and email access for downloading. Please refer to your module's manual for memory requirement specifications. Detailed installation instructions are included with your file(s), and are available in your Roland manual.
Q: What are the TD-30, 20X, and 20 installation requirements?
A: Installation requires a USB Memory Stick (30), or CF Card & (20X & 20), and computer with the appropriate Reader/Writer, internet access, and email access for downloading. Please refer to your module's manual for memory requirement specifications. The original TD-20 can use a CF card up to 512mb. Expanded TD-20's (TDW or 20X) can use CF cards up to 4gb. Detailed installation instructions are included with your file(s), and are available in your Roland manual.
Q: What are the TD-12 installation requirements?
A: Installation requires midi connectivity from your computer/sequencer to your TD-12. Connecting via computer requires a transfer librarian such as VDrumLib (recommended) and a midi interface such as the Roland UM-ONE USB-to-MIDI interface cable. (recommended)
Q: What is the primary difference between the TD-12 and TD-20 expansions?
A: All common settings between the two modules are exactly the same. The primary difference between the 12 & 20 modules will be the loss of reverb the TD-12 does not offer.
